The Smart-AVI AR-100S RS232 - Sound Cat5 Extender is used for extending any RS232 and stereo device up to 3000 ft. using a single Cat5 cable. It features a compact enclosure and offers a fully transparent path for all protocols and data transfers. The AR-100S comes with RS-232 and Stereo Sound CAT5 Transmitter (AR-TX100) and the RS-232 and Stereo Sound CAT5 Receiver (AR-RX100) which are compatible with line-level stereo audio signals and can support all protocol and baud rates. Aside from its high ground loop immunity, the AR-100S also features built-in lightning, power surge, and transient protection.
