We recommend that all Slaughter testers be returned annually for calibration and inspection. We guarantee a 2 day turnaround time for all our calibration. Choose Slaughter for your annual calibration needs and we will extend your new tester’s warranty for up to 3 years at no additional cost.

Note: We guarantee calibration for all testers that are in production, as well as testers discontinued no longer than 5 years. Our ability to calibrate testers discontinued greater than 5 years is dependent upon parts availability. We cannot support or calibrate testers discontinued greater than 10 years.

Testers we receive physically damaged or grossly misused will require an estimate.

Standard Calibration Options:

• Standard Calibration - verifies your tester is functioning properly and includes a calibration certificate.
• Standard Calibration with Data - includes before (as received) data and after (as returned) data along with a calibration certificate.

Calibrated using standards with accuracies traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).

WHO SHOULD CHOOSE STANDARD CALIBRATION:
If you want to ensure your instrument is performing accurately, but you don’t need to provide evidence of each test point.

WHO SHOULD CHOOSE CAL WITH DATA:
If you want to ensure your instrument is performing accurately and you would like data to support this fact. Despite having the data to support the proper functioning of your instrument, you don’t need to provide evidence of each test point to an auditor. If you do need evidence to provide to an auditor, you will require an accredited calibration.

Accredited calibrations provide measurement data and uncertainty traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).

WHO SHOULD CHOOSE ACCREDITED CALIBRATION:
If an auditor will be visiting your facility, they will likely require an accredited calibration certificate that includes tractability to NIST.
