The SHS800 series handheld oscilloscopes provide the user with an oscilloscope, multimeter, and recorder (including trends and waveform recorder) all in one package. It inherits the SHS1000 series’ stable and high performance along with the flexibility to use on a workbench or in the field.
The SHS800 Trend Plot feature records measurement data for both the oscilloscope and multimeter. The oscilloscope function features an 800k point capacity with more than 18 hours of recording time. The multimeter records data with a 1.2M point recording length, providing up to 6000 hours at 0.05Sa/s. Data can also be output for secondary research and analyzing.
The SHS800 can continually record waveforms in scan mode, and supports recording, replay and zoom functionality. It contains a 7M memory depth for up to 18 hours of recording time. It also supports a maximum of 4GB in USB storage mode for up to 3000 hours of recording time.
The SHS800 also contains a 6000 count, high precision multimeter. It can provide measurements of AC/DC voltage and current, as well as resistance, capacitance, continuity and diode testing.

Siglent SHS810
5.0
It will do everything you want. Just remember keep it charged or keep a few batteries with you when in the field, ie.. a 9 volt battery pack you can plug in the unit.

SIGLENT SHS810 Handheld Portable Oscilloscope
4.0
I would recommend this unit to others as long as they are willing to live with the built in DMM Continuity function operation I described below, until such time as Siglent corrects the issue in a firmware upgrade. That is, if they can and will fix it in firmware(?).My Siglent SHS810 100MHz Portable Oscilloscope works very well for basic O'Scope measurements and troubleshooting. Its DMM function is of course very handy also, except for its Continuity function which is very poor (or basically useless) in my opinion.Issues with DMM Continuity Measurements: It has at least a 1 second delay in the sounding of the continuity beeper when making connection to the closed circuit being tested, as well as another equal time delay for it to stop beeping after removing the probes from the circuit. And worst yet is that the beeper does not sound continuously, but beeps 'on and 'off' while connected to a closed circuit. This makes it basically impossible to locate an intermittent circuit condition. Therefore I have to still have to carry a DMM with me for these otherwise very simple continuity measurements. If the DMM continuity function worked as other DMM(s) [i.e. Fluke, etc.] I would be very happy with this unit.As others have reported the DMM functions all seem a little slower than a dedicated DMM, although I can live with this, as I'm primarily concerned with the oscilloscope function. As it is now I have to have a separate DMM with me anyway due to the inability of being able to do Continuity measurements with the SHS810.Conclusion: I would very much like to see Siglent make a firmware change to provide a standard Continuity function as in found in other DMMs. Such as a continuous tone when connected, and limit the connect/disconnect sounding delay to Milliseconds (the shorter the better of course).

Siglent SHS 810
I bought this unit 3/11/15 after a bunch of research on the different brands of non-isolated scopes. The Siglent line got the nod due to a few reasons: First of all they have a US based customer service center, so no irritating international calls. Secondly the specs met or exceeded any other comparable brands, even some big named brands. I was relieved to see that it was a well built unit, really sturdy feeling and heavy. I got this unit to assist me in my final semester of school. I am an Electrical Engineering major and have used this a lot over the last month. I love its ability to take waveform pictures and trend plots. Really gives me an edge when I write reports. The setup on this unit was easy and the firmware update was easy as well. Isolation would be nice for some applications but this unit fits the bill for most. Also the screen could use a few more pixels but it's still more than functional. Overall I recommend this unit.
