The Scienscope SSZ-II stereo zoom microscope is available in binocular and trinocular formats, and is Scienscope’s most popular model. Newly redesigned, the SSZ-II contains high quality optics, provided in an ergonomic, user friendly package.
The SSZ-II microscope offers high performance and durability, time tested through years of service and thousands of users. It contains modularized gears, fixed prisms, as well as an isolated nylon-on-nylon gear system. This increases the smoothness of the zoom, while simultaneously protecting gears from other moving parts.

Magnification, field of view and working distance can be varied greatly through different combinations of eyepieces and objectives, creating a high level of versatility with a single system.
