The Scienscope MAC2 video inspection system offers a complete solution for users needing excellent image quality, as well as real time video monitoring. The MAC2 features a 720p camera with forward mounted LCD monitor, and a wide variety of stands, illumination and much more. This allows users to customize the MAC2 to best suit their application.
The MAC2 contains a high quality digital camera, capable of 720p resolution at 60 frames per second. Adjustment of image settings is easily made through an included remote control – brightness, contrast, RGB and white balance are simply changed with the touch of a button. The system also includes a centered crosshair, which users can toggle on and off, as well as change color from white to black.
Pictures are taken with the push of a button, saving the image onto an included SD card. The image can then be easily transferred to any computer or mobile device through an SD reader.
The MAC2 also includes a digital caliper, with four horizontal and four vertical lines, with presence and color that can be independently altered. This feature is extremely useful in comparative measurement and inspection.
The MAC2 includes a macro zoom video lens, with controls conveniently located on the lens itself. This enables users to change focus, magnification and depth of field in a fast and simple manner. Results are displayed on the included video monitor in real time, so that there is no guesswork. For applications requiring higher levels of magnification, there is also an optional 2x magnification doubler. Please see the specifications tab for more information regarding magnifications, field of view, and working distance.
As with all Scienscope products, there are a wide variety of stands, illumination sources and much more, allowing you to customize the system to best suit your needs.
