Scienscope IL-LED-E2D - Compact Defused Led Adjustable Ring Light

The Scienscope IL-LED-E2D is an ultra-compact LED ring light, specialized for use with microscopes and video inspection. The IL-LED-E2D features a light intensity control knob accessed on the unit’s side, enabling users to easily adjust the strength of light emitted by the device. Overall brightness reaches 2.2KFC (kilo foot candles) with a color temperature of 3500k. The IL-LED-E2D also has an inner diameter of 2.3 inches and a life expectancy of 50,000 hours.

This model is the same as the IL-LED-E1, except that it has a diffused cover over the LED lamps. This helps to soften the light and reduce glare on certain surfaces.

Very good light!!

I decided to purchase this light since it was about half the cost of the current microscope lights that we were using. This light was much brighter than the previous lights and takes up far less space since everything including the power converter and lights are self-contained.
