Some applications require very high accuracy to measure and align transmitting power. The R&S ZPH-K9 option allows the R&S CableRider ZPH to perform power measurements together with the R&S NRP-Zxx power sensor series, with a measurement range of -67 dBm to +45 dBm and covering frequencies up to 110 GHz.
The power sensor function turns the R&S Cable Rider ZPH into a wideband power meter. It then always measures the power of the whole signal in the frequency range of the power sensor. In most cases, the signal shape has no effect on the measurement.
The power sensor measures the power in the frequency range defined in the data sheet of the power sensor. This means that you can measure both sine signals and modulated signals precisely over a large dynamic range.
For a complete list of supported power sensors, please refer to the data sheet or the accessories section of this page.
Please note: power sensors are sold separately.
