Rohde & Schwarz offers automated compliance test solution for 10BASET1S and 10BASE-T1L Ethernet according to the IEEE 802.3cg test specification. The test wizard of the Rohde & Schwarz ScopeSuite compliance test software guides the user via illustrated step-by-step instructions. Automatic test sequences allow for a fast test run.
A configurable test report documents the test results. The complete ethernet compliance test solution requires the R&S RT-ZF8 Test Fixture and a compatible vector network analyzer.
The complete test solution covers all relevant test cases of the IEEE 802.3cg test specification. The test fixture RT-ZF8 guarantees accurate signal probing.
The R&S ScopeSuite has a test wizard for guided steps. The tests used are fully automatic. In addition, single tests can be carried out for efficient debugging. The limit editor lets you individually adjust standard-specific test limits.
The Ethernet compliance test is a fully guided test. Detailed, image-based instructions make it easy to correctly connect the oscilloscope and the probes to the test fixture and the device under test. This increases the ease-of-use and reduces potential setup errors.
The test results are fully documented in a report created by the R&S ScopeSuite. Depending on the user’s preference, the test report can include numerical result data or oscilloscope screen shots. The available output formats are PDF, DOC and HTML.
The compliance test setup includes test cases that need a waveform generator and a network analyzer. R&S offers a complete solution with the R&S RTO-B6 waveform generator and the R&S ZND Vector Network Analyzer. The R&S ScopeSuite compliance test software fully supports all instruments for a fully integrated compliance test solution.
