Good Bag
4.0
Good bag for the 1000 series. Plenty of pockets, a space behind the scope pocket for documentation booklets, scope is held down with extra straps inside. There's a netted area above the scope, side pockets and a front pocket.Cheaper materials, won't hold up to constant travel like a proper hard case but for occasional travel it's a great light, compact option.

Rigol Scope Bag
3.0
Yes I recommend this but only because you have little alternative. The Good: It's somewhat inexpensive, it does hold the scope and all of its accessories. The Bad: Where do I start? For me the high-bar was set by my Tektronix scopes; even the little TDS series scopes got proper model specific bags, the bag they sold fit each model like a glove. This bag on the other hand feels very generic. To elaborate, it's built like a camera bag with large removable panels that feel like rigid card stock wrapped in foam and then covered in cloth with velcro tacked on so it can be secured to the interior of the bag. The zippers on the side pouches get hung up as you go over the corners (too sharp bend radius) hopefully they'll wear in over time. It's only exacerbated by putting stuff inside the pouches. The top of the bag is an odd design, it flips open like a lunch pail. The weight of the bag and everything inside is supported by the two plastic buckles on the front. Mine doesn't seem to have been assembled such that you can cinch the slack out so the top is a bit floppier than i'd prefer. Inside there's another pair of V shaped sort of features with buckles at the narrow end. The wide part of the V is sewn to the far left and right top of the bag. So you insert the scope, then lay these V's over the scope and then buckle it in the middle. I guess that's there to keep the scope from spilling out if the top comes open unexpectedly. The faux leather reinforcements for the front buckles just look cheesy IMHO, this isn't a sofa it's a bag for test equipment. Standard Chinese fare...Incidentally these DS1XXX scopes do fit in the older Tektronix TDS series bags, however the bag ends up being a shy bit too big. I think the TDS was a bit thicker (maybe 0.5") front to back.
