A new generation of ultra-microbalances UYA 4Y is designed to meet the highest requirements for the determination of mass. Its built-in system of automatic internal adjustment/calibration maintains excellent measurement reliability and accuracy. The device comprises two major components (an indicator and a precise mechanical measuring system which are enclosed separately). Such design eliminates the influence of heat sourcing from the instrument's electronics on its mechanical components and additionally protects it from shocks and vibrations caused by users operating the instrument. All the elements of a microbalance are made of glass and steel which eliminates the impact of electrostatics on weighing process.

4Y Series Balances

The 4Y Series displays are 5.7” resistive color touchscreens. They feature on-screen keys plus 8 physical keys. The 4Y series has a customizable workspace and toolbar on the display. The series includes 19 databases. 2 programmable IR sensors allow for hands-free commands. Features an electronic level system. Interfaces include: (x2) UISB-A, (x2) RS-232, Ethernet, 4-IN, 4-OUT, Wireless connection. 

UYA.4Y PLUS are SYNERGY LAB LINE balances that feature an automatic - Reflex Level system.

Anti-Draft Shield

The standard equipment of the ultra-microbalance is an anti-draft chamber eliminating imperfect conditions in weighing rooms (air drafts). The ultra-microbalance is placed inside the anti-draft chamber. Sliding side panes enable easy access to the weighing chamber.

Filter weighing option

This innovative solution enables the user to easily swap the weighing chamber with the chamber for filter weighing, which considerably expands the UYA 4Y ultra-microbalance functionality. The filter weighing chamber is characterized by high ingress protection. Large open-work weighing pan allows precise weighing of filters of various dimensions (max ø100). It is made of stainless steel which makes the chamber resistant to chemicals, colour change and scratches. The additional chamber does not come standard with the UYA 4Y ultra-microbalance.

Elimination of extra sources of vibration

Using a wireless terminal facilitates the elimination of additional vibrations resulting from a daily operation on a balance. Owing to that, balances with the highest resolutions might be used without the need for dedicated weighing workstations.

Convenience and comfort of weighing in fume cupboards and laminar flow cabins

Wireless communication between a terminal and a weighing module makes balance operation more comfortable and safer.

Balance isolation form influence of environmental conditions

Wireless communication allows to either place the weighing module inside a draft shield or to isolate it from the operator. This allows to weight toxic substances without putting the operator's health or life at risk.
