Unmanned Fever Screener for Workplace

I run a medium-sized pathology lab that runs 24/7. When the pandemic hit, we began screening using a staffing company to manually take employee temperatures as they entered our facility. This was extremely expensive, so we quickly pivoted to the Seek Scan system sold by tEquipment. While it worked very well, we eventually wanted the ability to trigger our door control system. The AATSS-V2A fit the bill perfectly. We quickly built the facial recognition database (which is surprisingly accurate, even with masks), integrated the system with our access control system, and now this part of our 'new normal' is completely autonomous for our employees. Extremely easy to set up (took me about an hour). Feels high quality. Interface is intuitive and relatively simple. This was my second purchase from tEquipment and I have been very impressed with their customer service on both occasions.

Thermal Scanner for Workplace

I run an office/warehouse space and we have real concerns during this time of COVID-19. Knowing your co-workers are not sick when reporting to work is critical. There are over 100 of us reporting to work every day and all of us want to feel safe at work and feel safe when returning home to our loved ones. A highly recommended way to do this is check staff and visitors’ temperatures at the door. We did not want to assign someone at the door checking each person as they arrived to work. We are team of mature responsible adults that look out for each other. A standalone monitor/tester that relies on the honor system is what we wanted. That is why we picked this unit. This unit worked right out of the box but acted up when we went to install it in our foyer. We called Tequipment and with a quick firmware update, we were good to go. It acted up again a week later, on the first hot day of the season. It was telling us everyone had a temperature above the alarm rate. Simple fix- this unit can adjust based on the room temperature it is located, we just needed to toggle that on. Now it works great. It beeps green if your temperature is in range and it reminds you to wear a mask if you are not wearing one. Very cool. The customer service we received was phenomenal. We now had a very safe, non-violating temperature test at our front door. This peace of mind will help us thru the pandemic until there is a vaccine. The cost is nothing compared to the lost productivity we would suffer if someone came sick to work and contaminated others instead of staying home. Thank you.
