The Quick 201B is a 90 watt, digitally controlled desoldering tool. Fully self-contained, the 201B has an internal pump and does not require an external source of compressed air to operate. Simply place it on your bench, plug it in and it is ready to use. The 201B features a vacuum pressure of 600mm Hg, and is designed for a wide variety of desoldering applications.
Settings are adjusted with three buttons on the station’s front panel and an LED screen displays the unit’s temperature and status. The 201B also features easily changed filters for quick removal of solder and flux, making it not only affordable, but user friendly.

Quick 201B good so far

Working good so far and I was able to remove several thru hole components such a capacitors, buzzers and diodes in quick succession, they came right out, from a PCB of non-leaded solder. Time will tell how this unit holds up but so far I'm impressed with it. This Quick 201B de-soldering unit is very similar to an older Hakko design (might be a copy cat) but it' seems well built and works well. The item description here fails to mention that this units comes with 3 separate size nozzles; a 0.6mm, 0.8mm, and 1.3mm. These different size nozzles is a must and very handy!

Time will tell how durable it is. Having said that, it appears to be built like a tank and worked very well. Even though it's rated 50Hz at 110VAC input, it's fine to use in the USA power system which is 60Hz @ 120V at the power outlet. What you don't want to do it use a 60Hz rated piece of equipment plugged into a 50Hz power outlet.

Great Desoldering Tool!
I've used some of the cheaper desoldering stations available on Amazon, and this one seems to be of much higher quality. It has a suction indicator built into the vacuum gun, a sturdy metal case, and has a timer that automatically keeps the suction on for about a second after you release the trigger to clear the nozzle before the solder cools. I've been using it to desolder pinheaders for work (which can normally be quite challenging with a bad desoldering tool or a hand pump), and it's been doing great! No lifted pads, just cleanly removed solder.
