2x magnification with 2x digital zoom
The Pulsar Quantum LD38A Thermal Imaging Monocular can detect heat signatures beyond what night vision can see, successfully penetrating through fog and smoke during the day and nighttime operations. Featuring a thermal core resolution of 384x288 to capture maximum thermal energy efficiently, its impressive 9-hertz frame rate and LCD 640x480 display resolution offer a crisp, consistent image of fast-moving objects. Long-distance viewing is made possible by a 2x digital zoom, which increases the 2x magnification to 4x. The Pulsar Quantum HD38A is the ideal choice for a wide variety of applications including search and rescue missions, reconnaissance, hunting, and covert law enforcement/military operations. Its high definition, “white hot” and “black hot” target viewing tracks down humans and animals at distances of 1,000 yards. The three new operating modes (City, Forest, and Identification) deliver enhanced contrast, significantly improving the rendering of hot object details. Users can choose from the automatic, manual, or semi-automatic calibration modes, which calibrate the image in just one to two seconds. It includes a standard weaver rail and tripod mount, allowing for attachment of external power supplies, as well as video output to record each session.
