Prostat PRV-815 - Premium Electrode Qualification Kit
Includes a Flatness Verification Fixture
The PRV-815 Premium Electrode Qualification kit includes the PRV-813 Conductive Rubber Electrode Verifier which is a precision fixture to electrically measure the surface flatness of the electrode’s conductive rubber surface to within approximately 0.003 inch.
Considering surface irregularities, flatness insures the electrode’s ability to make full contact with a surface under test. The fixture includes 20 contact pads, each connected to a 10 megohm [1.0x107 (±1%) ohm] resistor, all connected in parallel to each other. If an electrode surface is uniformly flat and makes contact with all 20 pads, the electrode resistance will be between 4.95x105 to 5.05x105 ohms. The approximate range of the PRV-813, 5.00x105 ohms ±1%.
Know the Overall Resistance of you Resistance Probes
The metal side of the PRV-813 is a nickel plated, polished brass to measure the overall resistance of your electrodes and make sure they are under 500 ohms each in accordance with ANSI/ESD S4.1.
A Pair of Premium Surface Resistance Probes Included
Included in the PRV-815 kit are 2 each PRS-801-WV Premium 5lbs Conductive Rubber Electrodes that are verified and certified to be flat and have a resistance of less than 10 ohms.
Keep the Rubber Pads of your Probes Clean and Flat
Before making crucial surface resistance measurements, make sure your probes are clean and flat by lightly dressing them using the included dressing pads.
