Prostat PRF-MR55 - Adapter Rings
In today's material technologies, many different types of composites are used to achieve electrostatic control. Combinations of various conductive ingredients, such as carbon, powdered metal or fibers, are blended with insulative materials to obtain static dissipative characteristics. Often the electrical surface characteristics of these compounds vary due to the distribution of conductive additives, mold design, the thermal forming process, or material properties. Consequently, material surface resistance will vary depending on fixture contact resistance, the surface characteristics of the primary material and the distribution of the conductive additives.
The Prostat PRF-MR Adapter Rings Set is designed to minimize contact resistance and irregularities in measuring these unique materials when using the Prostat PRF-912B, PRF-914B and PRF-922B Miniature Concentric Ring Fixtures. The adapters are installed over the contact surfaces of the miniature concentric ring electrodes.
