Precision Brand 316 Stainless Steel Shim is made from a soft (annealed) temper material. Type 316 stainless steel has better corrosion resistance to most chemicals, salts, acids, and marine atmospheres due to adding 2.0 to 3.0% molybdenum. Fabrication characteristics of type 316 are similar to type 302 and type 304. Measures 12″ wide by 24″ long.
