The PicoConnect 442 probe is a 25:1 attenuating probe that enables the PicoScope 4444 differential oscilloscope to measure large-amplitude voltages up to ±1000 V, or voltages with a large common-mode offset. Such voltages are found in electrical power converters, inverters, motor speed controls, switch mode power supplies and many other devices.
The probe is fitted with the Pico D9 connector for use exclusively with the PicoScope 4444 differential oscilloscope, upon connection it is automatically identified by the scope as a 25:1 probe, and scales the vertical axis in PicoScope 6 software with the correct probe attenuation.
The probe body provides double-insulated protection for the user for CAT ratings up to and including 1000 V CAT III. The PicoConnect 442 probe is designed and tested to EN 61010-1:2010 General requirements and to EN 61010-2-030:2010 Particular requirements for testing and measuring circuits. The TA089 and TA090 sprung hooks are designed to EN 61010‑031:2015 Safety requirements for hand-held probe assemblies.
