The generator module provides dual output in support of dual link or two independent SDI signals, standard with SD-SDI and HD-SDI.

The PHRXM-GG module provides a dual video/audio signal generator functionality. The Generator menu allows the following test signals to be generated. The Generator provides:

• 32, 10-bit Line-based video test patterns such as colour bars, ramp, colour plate, multi-burst and user defined (DPX, YUV, TGA, BMP ) that can be used to check video levels, linearity, saturation, hue, colour phase and frequency response.
• Pathogenic video test patterns such as Bars+Red, SMPTE Bars, Check Field that can be used to check that decoding, encoding and transmission processes are correct.
• Zone Plate generator test patterns are provided and allow the selection of several predetermined zone plates as well as 3 user customizable zone plates.
• 17 fixed Audio test tones (fixed 100Hz to 20kHz ), variable tones (1Hz-24Khz in 1Hz steps), intermittent tone, white noise or silence on audio pairs and audio groups. Audio level variable (0 to -100dB in 1dB steps).

This module allows the generation of dual SDI or Optical* video test signals for Dual Link or 3G-SDI applications**.

Compatible with the Rx2000, Rx1000 and Rx500 instruments.

The module provides a dual video/audio signal generator that can be set to any one of 32, 10bit (12 bit**) line-based , pathological or zone plate test signals as well as user define d test signals. These dual outputs are locked together with the same video format and frame rate but can have different test patterns if desired.

Audio test signals include 17 fixed test tones (100Hz-20kHz), variable test tones (1Hz-24Khz in 1Hz steps), intermittent tone or white noise that can be applied in audio levels from 0 to -100dB in 1dB steps
