Parker Hannifin was founded in 1917 as the Parker Appliance Company. Its founder was Arthur Parker, an engineer with a unique idea for a braking system on trucks and buses. Out of this innovative spirit, the company was formed. Today, this sort of innovative spirit keeps Parker pushing the limits and designing new, unique products which save time, cut costs, and keep industries up and running.

Parker’s engineering expertise spans the core motion and control technologies including Aerospace, Climate Control, Electromechanical, Filtration, Fluid & Gas Handling, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Process Control, and Sealing & Shielding. The company’s current product line includes a large range of products which cover these areas.

Parker Hannifin is a Fortune 250 global leader in motion and control technologies. For more than 100 years the company has engineered the success of its customers in a wide range of diversified industrial and aerospace markets. Parker’s engineering expertise and broad range of core technologies uniquely positions the company to help solve the world’s greatest engineering challenges.
