The MBT 350 is loaded with features to improve quality, increase through-put, extend tip life, and protect your process. The system is fully programmable and can be password protected from unauthorized changes. In some cases technicians become frustrated with being locked into a single temperature. The MBT 350 provides the solution! An approved operating range can be programmed allowing operators the flexibility to do their work, while eliminating the risks associated with giving techs access to the entire temperature range of the system. Operators can be given a range of 100-900ºF (37-482ºC) for SensaTemp handpieces and 400-850ºF for THC handpieces to operate within! When high-mass tips are required, an offset can be programmed for each of the three channels, individually.

I bought this mainly for the sx-100 and it does everything its supposed to and has saved me a lot of time. But when i got it the Visifilter for the sx-100 was damaged from shipping, and also because the heating element for the sx-100 was attached during shipping it pulled one of the threaded boss's out of the hand piece. it was ok at first and got looser to the point where i felt like i was going to break the other side. so i pulled the boss out and used loctite liquid superglue on it and put it back in and it's more solid than ever. They offered to replace it but because i already glued it waiting on their response we agreed that my hand piece should be fine and they sent me a free tip for the mt-100 and also a 25$ refund for materials to fix it. Better packaging would of avoided this i'm sure. i decided to give 5 stars because it really is an awesome tool besides the issues i had from shipping.

Incredible return on investment
I have used PACE soldering & desoldering equipment for many years.The quality of their products is outstanding.I have an MBT201 desoldering station, and it's still running -iIt has been in service every day, for almost 15 years!I can still get spare parts for it and professional technical assistance over the phone.I'm very happy with the MBT350 systems we've purchased, I can say that the quality is still there. It's a wonderful all-in-one station for performing through-hole work. I've also managed to perform a substantial amount of SMD rework (passive SMD components, SOIC, SOT etc). The temperature controls are very precise, the tools are very comfortable to utilize.
