I got one of the first ADS200 systems when they came to market and purchased almost every tip they make for these. I thought this tip would not see much use but it has become my daily driver and does 90 to 95% of all my soldering. Great for through hole applications, point to point soldering in old tube type equipment and I even use it for the majority of my SMD soldering. When I need to solder a very high mass joint like a terminal strip with 5 to 8 component leads going to it this tip easily does the job. Also found that if I just rotate the hand piece in my hand I can use the tip for doing the majority of my SMD rework. Very versatile tip. Soldering iron tip profiles are like buying a new car. It's personal preference. Having said that if I could have only one tip for my ADS200 this would be it.

Pace Knife blade for ADS200

Pace had some QC problems with this tip so it was on backorder for a few months. It was shipped to me as soon as it came in. Seems to be working fine so far.
