The PIE 211 Multiple RTD Type Calibrator is functionally equivalent to similar calibrators with five digit displays, knobs and switches. The PIECAL 211 gives you advantages of an updated design while maintaining the familiar, time proven ease of use of similar calibrators. Choose the Practical Instrument Electronic 211 and get an RTD calibrator with a backlit display, a rubber boot and rugged switches. The PIE 211 Multiple RTD Type Calibrator is functionally equivalent to similar calibrators with five digit displays, knobs and switches.
The Practical Instrument Electronics (PIE) 211 automated RTD calibrator can be used to check and calibrate all RTD instruments and measure RTD sensors with automatic indication of connections on the display for simple hookups. The PIE 211 comes with a rubber boot and a rugged, low-profile switch for protection and its backlit display makes it easy to use in poorly lit areas.
With the PIE 211 automated RTD calibrator, there's no need for a decade box and RTD resistance tables. PIE 211 calibrators work with many RTDs, including Platinum 100 (alpha = 3850, 3902, 3926) & 1000 (alpha = 3850, 3750), Copper 10 & 50Ω, Nickel 100 & 120Ω. You can quickly set any value to within 0.1° with the adjustable digital potentiometer dial, plus store any three temperatures for instant recall.
Another feature of the PIE 211 automated RTD calibrator is the automatic output stepping. Choose between 2, 3, 5, 11 and 21 steps to automatically increment the output in 100%, 50%, 25%, 10% or 5% of span. Select the step time to match your system from 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 and 60 seconds. Lastly, you can troubleshoot sensor connections by connecting two, three or four wire RTDs and the PIE 211 will automatically detect the connection and measure the RTD.
The PIE 211 is manufactured in the USA and ships complete with rubber boot, four "AA" alkaline batteries, certificate of calibration, small carrying case, and evolution wire kit.
