Optris Xi 80 - 80 x 80 IR Camera with 80° x 80° Lens (f = 2.3mm)

The newly developed optris Xi 80 combines the benefits of infrared cameras and infrared thermometers.

A full 80x80 thermal image eliminates the hunt for the hot spot and tedious positioning required with single spot temperature sensors. The integrated spot finder function will identify the hottest (or coldest) spot in the image and automatically communicate these measurements without an external PC.

Performance with 80° x 80° Lens

This version of the Xi 80 includes a 80° x 80° lens. Performance characteristics at 1 and 2 feet can be seen in the images below. Please note, optics are not interchangeable and cannot be changed at a later date.

Optris PIX Connect software

The Optris PIX Connect software is included with the camera and provides time vs. temperature data capture, as well as real-time IR image recording. The program has been developed specifically for the extensive documentation and analysis of thermal images and enables analysis of temperature data in real-time, as well as the remote control of the camera. Furthermore, you can set up individual alarm levels for your process and define visual or acoustic alarm signals.

• Image Subtraction, 3D image Display, Full temperature matrix of thermal image storage to .dat file for use in MS Excel
• Full alarming capabilities on user-defined temperature thresholds

Please note, the Xi 80 does not have a video out and must be connected either to the IRMobile app or a PC equipped with Optrix PIX Connect software in order to produce an image. The Xi-80 does operate in an "autonomous mode" producing temperature measurements and alarms without any PC which can be communicated to a PLC.
