I purchase this for pH and salinity testing, and have been using it for about a month.. Good meter for the price. It stabilizes in less than a minute, calibration has not drifted. The instructions are marginal but OK after spending some time with the unit. The display could be brighter, but when using it outdoors it is fine.

A good pH meter and salinity tester. Purchased it to test a 500-gallon salt-water hot tub. Instructions need a lot of work. My biggest issue to date if the back lighting. Testing generally takes 2 minutes. The back light feature dims the screen in under two minutes. Just as you are getting ready to read the screen it blanks out. Small but frustrating feature. Seems to hold the calibration ok. Had to calibrate the salinity feature with the local spa dealer to be able to compare results (apples to apples). Over all it seems rugged and reliable.
