Ergonomic pistol-grip infrared (IR) thermometers provide the precision you need for quick and easy temperature measurements. Noncontact meters safely measure the surface temperature of objects without physically touching the object. Simply aim, pull the trigger, and read the display - reliable measurements couldn’t be easier!
The Digi-Sense Professional Dual-Laser Infrared Thermometer (Model 20250-08) with 50 to 1 distance-to-sight ratio offers fast response and high accuracy. This heavy-duty meter is ideal for a wide range of applications including food preparation, safety and fire inspection, plastic molding, marine, HVAC, and fleet maintenance. Advanced features include internal data logging, USB interface for data transmission, temperature alarm, adjustable emissivity, temperature differential, data Hold, Max/Min/Avg readings, and auto power-off. The meter also supports contact measurement through a type K thermocouple input. The instrument is fully tested and calibrated to NIST-traceable standards. Careful use of this meter will provide years of reliable service.
These Digi-Sense professional IR thermometers are specifically designed for demanding applications with a high distance-to-target ratio, enhanced temperature range, and heavy-duty design. Plus the NIST-traceable precalibration means you get reliable measurements right out of the box, saving you time and money!
Most IR thermometers require the user to be to within 8 to 12 inches or even less to get an accurate reading. Dual targeting lasers give a more precise indication of the measurement area; unlike IR thermometers with a single targeting laser where the user has no idea how big of a spot is being measured.
Model 20250-08 has a wider measuring range of –58 to 3362°F (–50 to 1850°C), an enhanced distance-to-sight ratio of 50:1, and internal memory for storing up to 100 readings. Unit can also be used to download logged data or transmit unlimited data via the USB interface to a PC; data can be analyzed with the included graphical software.
