The Oakton 00653-89 is an 8974 μS, one-pint (500 mL) conductivity, and total dissolved solids (TDS) calibration standard solution. A calibration solution is used to calibrate instrumentation for accuracy in testing liquids in lab and field use within an educational, laboratory, and research applications. This standard has KCl (potassium chloride), NaCl (sodium chloride), and 442 conversions printed on the bottle for ease of reference. Temperature corrections are also printed on the bottle with certified values listed in tables for ease of use. The solution includes a National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST)-traceable materials, and a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for safety reference. The premixed solution comes in PEGC-bottle packaging to improve shelf life. The 00653-89 has a 1-pint (500mL) bottle. Certified values listed on tables accurate to within + or - 1% and are referenced to 25 degrees C. Conductivity 8,974 μS. Conductivity to total dissolved solids (TDS) calibration values ppm NaCl; 4487, ppm 442; 7608, ppm KCl 5101. It is used with conductivity meters and cells (sold separately). Its dimensions are 7.75 (h) x 2.25 (d) inches. TDS standards in ppm KCl, NaCl, and 442 conversions are also printed on the bottle for ease of use. Temperature corrections are printed on the bottle, with the certified values listed in the tables, accurate to within ±1%, and are referenced to 25°C.
