The OC White Macro Zoom is a high quality video inspection system. Presented in a modular format, the Macro Zoom is easily configured to your specific requirements, with many optional stands, optics and illumination sources. This system is ergonomic, easy to use, and offers an all in one solution for users needing high magnification, wide field of view and a video output.
The Macro Zoom is an extremely versatile instrument, able to perform at nearly unlimited working distances. Working distance refers to the amount of space between the lens and item being viewed – the larger this number, the more room technicians have to maneuver. This is especially important when using hand tools, such as soldering irons and dissection equipment. Technicians can conduct their work without concern for hitting and damaging their microscope. This enables a faster workflow and greater efficiency.
For higher magnification levels, the Macro Zoom also includes a specially designed close up lens. This extends magnification to 80x, with a working distance between 6 and 12 inches. Magnification levels this high are extremely useful in manufacturing applications, as well as quality control and inspection. Users can see fine details in high definition and with excellent clarity.
The Macro Zoom also includes a 1080p digital camera. Mounted on top of the lens, this camera feeds a live video signal through an HDMI port to the system’s flat screen monitor (also included). The camera comes with an external USB mouse for numerous on screen controls, making the system operational without needing a PC. This enables image capture, digital zoom, screen inversion, ROI binning and much more. Furthermore, an included SD card allows for quick transfer of images to an external computer for documentation and email purposes.
This system can be mounted on either an articulating arm or an adjustable boom stand. The articulating arm allows the unit to be moved both horizontally and vertically, as well as pushed out of the way when not in use. The dual arm boom stand is a sturdy device with a weighted base and 16 inch vertical post.
Several illumination sources are also available. Users can select between fluorescent or LED ring lights, as well as several styles of fiber optics. Units are available in several different brightness levels, color temperatures, and sizing formats.
