Trinocular Metallurgical Microscope, 100W Reflected Illumination for BF
The Motic PA53MET is a trinocular metallurgical microscope with reflected intermediate illumination system for bright field observation, 100W halogen lamp house, and widefield eyepieces with 10X magnification and 25mm field of view. The coded quintuple revolving nosepiece for BF features a slot for DIC. Plan S-APO objectives 5X, 10X, 20X, 50X are included. The PA53 MET is highly modular and can be upgraded for motorized components in the future.
Motic’s PA53 MET series microscopes offer solutions for industrial quality control and analysis of opaque materials. The Semi-Apochromatic objectives provide crisp, clear images. The incident illumination provides a variety of contrast methods – Brightfield, Darkfield, Polarization and DIC Contrast Methods uncover defects not otherwise seen in one lighting method alone.
Combined Switch for BF/DF and ND Filter
With the BF/DF converter switch located on the front of the unit, it is easier to change observation modes. The interlocking ND filter protects the users’ eyes against dramatic changes in brightness.
Polarizer and Analyzer Filters
A set of optional polarizer and analyzer filters help you switch from the DIC/POL to other observation modes quickly and easily. These filters are designed as sliders and are accessible from either side of the microscope for maximum convenience.
Optimal DIC with High-Quality Imaging
Using a DIC slider with a single prism, the Nomarski DIC observation mode offers easy switching to other observation modes and facilitates observations on any range of magnifications because the position of the DIC prism remains constant.
