The Motic PA43-MT-BD-S6 is a PX43MET professional inverted metallurgical microscope package. The package includes a trinocular head (45-degrees inclined, 360-degrees swiveling, 100:0/20:80 light split), widefield high eyepoint eyepieces (10X/20mm, +/-5 diopter adjustable), side facing quintuple nosepiece with DIC slot, Plan S-APO BD objectives (5X, 10X, 20X, LPlan S-APO BD 50X), mechanical stage with metal stage insert, halogen illumination 100W with external lamp house and intensity control, Moticam S6 camera, and Motic Analysis Basic software.

The PX43MET is designed to inspect polished cross-sections as well as larger, bulkier material samples. The microscope is ideal for automotive, machinery, and metal fabrication industries and similar fields. This full featured microscope is capable of optional DIC for better depth imaging, Polarization, Brightfield and Darkfield contrast methods, and advanced measurement, image processing and documentation through the Moticam and the Motic Analysis Software. 

The PX43MET makes use of a CCIS infinity optical system to provide you with brightfield, darkfield, and inverted microscopy. Along with its ultra-long working distance objective lens, PX43MET offers multi-method, flexible metallographic examination.

The high transmittance objective lenses are made with multi-layer coating, which greatly improves contrast and displays an observed image with high brightness and clarity.

The PX43MET microscope’s unique three-layer stage and movable handle design make it more convenient for the user to move specimens, which greatly improves observation efficiency and comfort of use. The 320mmx194mm large-area stage allows you to choose a wider range of specimens. The hard-coated surface is anti-corrosive and wear resistant. The stage stroke is 50X50mm to ensure sufficient operating distance for the user.

The quintuple nosepiece ensures precise position when changing the objective lenses. The inclined position of the objectives makes it easy to read the objective information while working and allows for ergonomic access to change the magnification.

The PX43MET supports brightfield, darkfield and polarized light observation. In the standard configuration, the PX43MET uses a 12V /100W halogen lamp, which provides ample illumination intensity for its full set of objective lenses. The built-in power supply also saves you valuable workspace.

The PX43MET features the ECO Smart Sense function. The infrared sensor built into the stand can detect whether or not there is a user working in front of the microscope. If the user leaves the PX43MET for over 15 minutes, the microscope will automatically switch off. When the user returns, the sensor will automatically turn on the scope.

The unique antiglare design when switching from darkfield to brightfield ensures that the instantaneous illumination brightness will not be too strong. The brightness gradually increases, giving users enough adjustment time to protect their eyes from stray light.

The Moticam S6 camera works together with your PX43MET to provide you with clear colors and sharp images. The 6MP resolution of the Moticam S6 is targeted to large-sized monitors and printing purposes. Presentations to a greater audience through video projector, and reports in hardcopy are performed with ease.

Functions include still image and video capture, live and still image measurement, image adjustments, white balance, automatic and manual exposure, and individual objective calibration system.
