The BA210 was designed by Motic as a high quality microscope for use in education. From high school, to universities and medical schools, the BA210 was built to endure daily use in a learning environment. The BA210 is a versatile microscope, and perfectly suited for educational life sciences, as well as a variety of medical and biological applications.
The BA210 contains many student proof features, along with high quality mechanical and optical hardware. It includes newly designed EF-N Plan Achromatic objectives, providing a fully corrected intermediate image for clear and crisp results. Built with high quality optical glass, these new objectives are multi layer coated for improved contrast, offering enhanced image strength, even with weak slide stainings. Images from the BA210 are also easily repeatable, allowing students to focus on learning, and not on their microscope.
Standard eyepieces are N-WF 10x/20, with a high eyepoint for eyeglass wearers, as well as rubber eyecups and diopter adjustment on both sides. Several types of reticles are also available, for applications with measurement and counting.
Phase contrast and darkfield methods of operation are also possible with the BA210 through optional hardware and objectives. Both are available in 10x and 40x magnifications, and have optional phase contrast and dark field sliders.
Several versions of the BA210 are available. This microscope is made in binocular and trinocular formats, and has three possible illumination types – 6v/30w halogen, 3w LED, or mirror. There are also several styles of digital cameras available, the Moticam, as well as a dedicated digital unit with a camera built into the head. For users wishing to user their own digital camera, a large number of adapters and photo eyepieces are available.
