Inverted, Metallurgical Trinocular Microscope, Dark-Bright Field (DF/BF 5X, 10X, 20X, 50X) with 100W Illumination
The Motic AE2000MET DF BF 100W is an inverted trinocular metallurgical microscope with widefield high eyepoint eyepieces (10X/20mm), dark-bright field objectives (DF/BF 5X, 10X, 20X, 50X), and 100-Watt halogen illumination with external lamp house and intensity control.
The AE2000 MET series is designed to inspect polished cross-sections as well as larger, bulky samples within industries such as automotive, machinery, metal fabrication, and more. Large metal or die-cast parts, too large to view under a conventional upright microscope, can easily be examined for failure analysis, material research, or quality control.
Motic’s CCIS advanced Infinity optics provide Brightfield/Darkfield objectives with long working distances, while quality glass and anti-reflex coating ensure superb image quality. Designed with a comfortable viewing angle of 45 degrees, all AE2000MET eyepiece tubes offer a generous 20mm field of view (FOV). The high eye point principle of the AE2000MET´s eyepieces ensures true color and sharp imaging while minimizing eye fatigue and strain.
Illumination is provided by a 12v/100w Halogen lamp and will support bright field, dark field, and polarizing modes of observation. The lamp also features an intensity control knob so that users can easily adjust the illumination level. The AE2000MET features a built-in sleep function, where the lamp turns off following fifteen minutes of inactivity.
With the addition of a Moticam camera option (sold separately), advanced measurement, image processing, and documentation/reporting are possible through the Motic Analysis software (sold separately). For those preferring to use their own camera, Motic offers a full line of adapters.
