The Motic Darkfield with iris diaphragm is for transmitted light, an easy-to-use Darkfield insert is mounted on top of the light exit of any transmitted light stand (Halogen or LED). The iris diaphragm allows varying the illumination aperture according to the numerical aperture of the objective in use.
