This all-in-one portable battery diagnostic station offers intelligent, controlled, and rapid charging combined with battery state-of-health analysis. GR8 Series Battery and Electrical Diagnostic Station
- MOSFET Soft Switch Charging Technology – precise control of charging voltage and current, increases overall charging efficiency, responsiveness and control during service work, reduces heat
- Diagnostic charging mode - after determining the condition of the battery (Good Battery, Good-Recharge, Charge, Retest, Replace Battery, Replace bad cell, State-of-Health), charging initiated with updates on status, charging voltage, charging current, time remaining, amount of charge in amp-hours, continuous testing during cycle, integrated temperature sensor improves safety and diagnostics charging capabilities
- Power supply mode - test and maintains battery voltage at 13.5V to allow for uninterrupted reflash programming, extensive service work, or to retain vehicle system settings
- Jump-start mode - makes high output current available to boost charge in-vehicle battery or assist in starting the engine with an automated 250 amp jump-start routine
- Manual mode - provides a timed charge from 5 to 120 minutes or a continuous charge ends when the STOP key is pressed.
- Recovery Mode - helps recover hard-to-charge batteries
- Top-off mode - automatically occurs at end of the charge cycle to allow the charger to fill a good battery to capacity, mode ends when the battery’s acceptance of charge current goes below 2 amps
- Advanced communications – USB port, Data card reader/writer for in-field upgrades and data storage, integrated printer (included with GR8 Kits), Wireless Multi-Tasking Bridge (GR8-1200 model) allows user to charge one battery while diagnosing batteries/electrical systems on other vehicles
- Test Options - CCA (cold cranking amps), JIS (Japanese Industrial Standard), DIN (Deutsche Industrie Norm), SAE (Society for Automotive Engineers), IEC (International Electromechanical Commission), EN (Europa Normal Standards)
