Menda Cleaning Brush, Conductive & Dissipative
CONDUCTIVE BRUSHES
Conductive brushes have a surface resistivity range of 10² - 10⁴ and are ideal when you need to remove static build up from a work surface. Conductive materials allow charges to move freely across their surfaces or through their volume and dissipation of static charges from grounded conductive materials tends to be complete and rapid. Conductive brushes will provide a conduit from the charged surfaces to ground.
DISSIPATIVE BRUSHES
Dissipative brushes have a surface resistivity of 10⁵ - 10¹¹. This is a higher resistivity than the conductive brushes, but prevents static build up in the brushes themselves. Dissipative materials allow charges to move slowly across their volume. They are ideal for removing any static charge that might result in adhesion of particles to an object.
