Meiji Techno MT4000
The Meiji Techno MT4000 series are brightfield biological microscopes, designed for use in education, research and laboratory applications. The MT4000 are offered in many different styles and in a modular format, easily adapted for additional modes of observation.
Head styles
The MT4000 are available in both binocular and trinocular formats, and with fixed or tilting eyepieces. Fixed eyepieces are mounted at a 30 degree angle, however, each model is also available in an ergonomic version. Ergonomic models are adjustable between 10 and 50 degrees, and are indicated by an “E” in their model number - for example, MT4200L versus MT4200EL.
Trinocular microscopes are an excellent choice for anyone needing to connect a camera to their device. Meiji Techno offers a large number of digital microscopy cameras, varying in resolution and levels of functionality. From school use to medical research, Meiji Techno has a product for all applications.
Illumination
The MT4000 are available with either 6v/30w Halogen or 3W LED illumination. These are indicated by the “H” and the “L” in the part number – for example, MT4200L versus MT4200H.
Optics
Meiji Techno offers a wide variety of optional eyepieces, objectives and filters, greatly expanding the MT4000’s capabilities. Eyepieces are available in several formats, with magnifications of 10x, 15x and 20x. Users can also choose from many types of micrometers and reticules. A complete set of phase contrast objectives and condensers are also available, as well as many other filters and polarizers. With one microscope, you can easily perform brightfield, darkfield, polarization and phase contrast.
