The Meiji Techno ML9300 is a high quality trinocular polarizing microscope. It features a large stable base and limb, with graduated coaxial coarse and fine focusing (with safety stop), as well as a rack and pinion focusing condenser mount. The ML9300 comes equipped with a strain free condenser, and also strain free objectives with a pre-centered transmitted Koehler illuminator. The unit’s 6V 30W Halogen lamp includes variable intensity control.

Polarizing microscopes are extremely useful for specialized medical and industrial applications, such as identifying crystals suspended in liquid, identifying minerals in core samples and detecting defects in semiconductors or finding stress points in metal, glass and other materials.
