Much higher image quality than I expected?

This extension lens is being used with a Meiji EMT-2 microscope with 1x and 3x objectives for botanical research. Our primary objective for this lens was to increase the working distance between the subject (potted plants) and the microscope head. We were pleasantly surprised by the image quality it produces.
