Lightweight Pneumatic Plane Grip, Single-Action, 200 N, Pair, QC-20 Fitting
A pair of versatile Lightweight Pneumatic Plane Grips is especially suitable for holding a variety of materials where the tensile force may be low but the material is sensitive to damage or slippage when clamped.
The adjustable screw-driven rod allows symmetrical and asymmetrical specimens to be positioned whilst the single-actuator applies the clamping force on the jaws. The opening span is 0 - 20 mm subject to jaws selected.
Adjustment of pneumatic pressure ensures a constant and reproducible clamping force is achieved to avoid ‘jaw break’ or slippage of specimens. Its low-profile aluminum design makes it ideal for tensile testing up to 200N (subject to jaw width)
An extensive collection of interchangeable jaws (sold separately) provides excellent gripping characteristics to ensure that a variety of materials and components can be securely held.
Mec205 series footswitches or hand switches are available to operate pneumatic grips - order separately.
Fitted with a QC-8mm hole and supplied with an adaptor to QC-20mm hole for connection to the base of a test stand or loadcell.
