I’m no electronics guru but this seemed to work well for an old receiver I was refurbishing... eg: dipping component leads into flux before soldering through hole pcb’s made solder flow much better compared to not doing it... a little goes a long way - probably have this jar for a while. Cleans up with alcohol or acetone and an old toothbrush
