We've been using this product to disinfect during COVID. Perhaps. to the products original intended use, but it is highly effective, and can be used on many different surfaces. You definitely need to ventilate well when using this. We mostly use it to disinfect high touch surfaces like light switches and door knobs.

As a maker, I use IPA a lot for both circuit board cleaning, and also to clean residue from my glass 3D printer bed. Maximum strength IPA is a must, and this can makes for a more convenient application than pouring from a bottle.

Great solder residue cleaner. I've used both this aerosol can and regular bottle of 99.9% alcohol and the aerosol can wins hands down. The pressure behind the alcohol spray is great for getting into nooks and crannies and blasting out gunk. Also makes an excellent antiseptic. Quality of MG Chemicals product is first rate. I've been using this cleaner to clean all the residue left on my PCBs after soldering and it has been extremely effective. The canister that it comes in with a plastic tube allows me to spray into specific areas on the board and makes cleaning a breeze. I'll be ordering more once I run out

Peace of mind in an unknown time

I could not source any type of disinfection spray, like Lysol, when I came across this product. I’m assuming that any virus that comes in contact with is this will die, it is 99.95% pure anhydrous alcohol, after all.
I use on all boxes getting delivered to my house, but I would never use this on food. I don’t know what will happen if you eat something that came in contact with this, and I don’t want to find out. I only use it outside. I tag the box with the spray, leave the box outside for another hour, as this has an overpowering smell.
You do not want to get this on your skin, in your eyes, and don’t breathe in. This is much stronger than Lysol disinfectant spray, and I’m sure the people that make this never thought it would be used in this fashion.
I’m not a scientist, so I assume that this is killing all viruses, and I can not recommend this product to others to kill microorganisms. But it does give me peace of mind.

It is alcohol and does the job: cleans flux. Now, what I loved the most about this product is the dispenser. The nozzle has three settings: low, mid, high. This settings availability is ideal for the different uses the alcohol may be given; in addition, it includes a straw that fits the nozzle and can be placed when you want to target a specific location with the alcohol stream.
