The Lindstrom TRX-8180 is a heavy-duty diagonal cutter with a dual-component handle. It features handles with a two-component combination: the thermoplastic surface on tough polypropylene that provides superior grip. It also has a progressive bevel cutting edge, which means the cutting bevel progresses along the edge in order to cut soft and thin material at the tip and hard and thick material close to the joint.
The TRX-8180's tough design is ideal for production, maintenance, repair, and service applications. The riveted joint minimizes friction and maximizes jaw alignment. It has cutting edges hardened to 63-65 HRC for durable performance. It has a high leverage joint to reduce cutting force. The TRX-8180 is equipped with a return spring featuring an on/off function. It is made of high-performance alloy steel with a burnished finish and is anti-corrosion treated.
