The Leica DD175 50Hz is a buried utility locator with 50Hz mains power region detection in auto, power, radio, and transmitter modes. The DD175 features current measurements and lower frequency, which aid in long distance tracing and identification of sewer cameras. It also features hazard zone, shallow service and depth estimation when used in conjunction with a signal transmitter or sonde. Please note, transmitter/sonde is sold separately. Additional features include GPS and data logging, allowing usage reports to be generated.

The Leica DD100 Series cable locators feature advanced automatic controls, making them easy to use, requiring minimal user experience. Avoiding underground cables and pipes is a major concern on construction sites. Detecting the position of buried cables and pipes before excavation work can help prevent operator injury, asset damage and any subsequent cost. Use the DD175 with a DA175 or DD2XX transmitter, or range of accessories (sold separately) to achieve improved accuracy and application scope.

The DD175 locators have an internal GPS module which is used to record the geographical position of use. The geographical position (latitude and longitude) is stored in the log file and provides information on where the locator was used.

The DD175 locators record and store information while they are in use. The locators start to record information every second after completion of the initial start-up routine. The records (logs) are stored in the locator’s memory and can be retrieved and transferred via Bluetooth to a PC for analysis.
