Klein Tools MM720 Multimeter is an automatically ranging (with manual option) true root mean squared (TRMS) digital multimeter that measures AC/DC voltage, AC/DC current, and resistance. It can also measure temperature, capacitance, frequency, duty cycle, diodes, and continuity. It features high visibility, and reverses contrast LCD display with an optical sensor to automatically optimize viewability in dark or bright ambient lighting.

The MM720 also features an LCD version of the Lead Alert Function for safe test lead placement. When the Function Selector switch is rotated to a measurement setting, "LEAD" flashes on display as a reminder to check that test leads are inserted into the appropriate jacks.
