Keysight D9010PAMA - Pulse Amplitude Modulation PAM-N Analysis Software; Perpetual License
This item is a perpetual license for the D9010PAMA software package. Support options for this package are listed in the accessories section of this page.
Types of perpetual licenses
There are five variations of perpetual license listed in the menu above - they are as follows:
- Floating
- Networked instruments/computers can access a license from a server one at a time. Multiple licenses may be purchased for concurrent usage
- Single site: 1-mile radius from the server
- Single region: North, Central, and South America, Canada
- Node locked
- License can be used on one specified instrument/computer
- Transportable
- License can be used on one instrument/computer at a time but may be transferred to another using Keysight Software Manager (internet connection required)
- USB Portable
- License can be used on one instrument/computer at a time but can be transferred to another using a certified USB dongle (available for additional purchase, Keysight part number E8900-D10)
D9010PAMA information
Demand for increased network bandwidth in data centers continues to grow. Pulse Amplitude Modulation (PAM) is a multi-level signaling format that is enabling technology to help address this need. The switch from NRZ to PAM-4 is revolutionary, rather than evolutionary from 100G, presenting many new design and measurement challenges.
The Keysight D9010PAMA PAM-4 analysis software for Infiniium real-time oscilloscopes is designed to accurately and quickly characterize PAM-4 electrical signals described in IEEE 802.3bj Clause 94 and address future PAM measurement needs as outlined in developing standards such as OIF-CEI-56G and IEEE 400G.
