Soldering Head for JBC Soldering Kit for Robot
The JBC RBA has been designed to be used in automated soldering processes. The RBA can be configured with TR Soldering Irons, SFR Solder Feeder and GSFR Guide Kits. The RBA allows two independent automatic movements through pneumatic actuators.
Lifting Unit movement: Its integrated pneumatic Lifting Unit enables fast Z-axis movement into and away from the soldering position. The Lifting Unit includes a 5mm spring-loaded buffer stroke to soften possible collision.
Nozzle Actuator movement: The Dispensing Nozzle Actuator allows up to 90° dispensing tube movement into and away from the feeding position.
JBC Soldering Robot Kits
The JBC soldering kits for the robot are available general soldering and for intensive heavy-duty soldering. The complete kit consists of the following components which can be purchased separately or as a kit (soldering iron, control box, solder feeder).
The JBC TR soldering irons are for use in automated soldering processes. These irons are part of JBC kits for Standard Soldering Applications and Heavy Duty Applications. The TR245 is developed for standard soldering applications and the TR470 is developed for heavy-duty soldering applications.
The soldering irons are controlled by the JBC UCR Control Box. They feature a robust design and feature quick cartridge extraction, for varied soldering applications. A precise positioning system allows for accurate centering of the Robot Cartridges in the soldering iron.
The JBC SFR Solder Feeder includes a solder wire perforation function (when included with the GSFR Guide Kit) allowing flux flow and outgassing to minimize solder splashing.
