The PHSE is an infrared preheater with three work modes:
Up to four thermocouples can be connected which enable the operator to work in any of the three work modes. The PHSE has two independent work zones which define a heating area of 2.56 x 5.31 or 5.12 x 5.31 inches. With the JBCSuite software program, the preheater can be synchronized with other JBC hot-air, soldering as well as fume extractor equipment in order for them to work jointly and to perform your rework process optimally.
There are 3 profiles predefined by JBC: A, B and C. The difference between them is the number of steps: 2, 3 or 4. The thicker your PCB is and the more layers it contains, the more steps are needed to obtain a gradual warming. These profiles are not modifiable but can be used as a template to create your own profiles.
