The Most Efficient Soldering System
The system recovers tip temperature extremely quickly. This increases work efficiency and lowers the soldering temperature.
JBC heating system principles
- The compact element optimizes heat transfer by reducing the thermal barriers.
- The fully integrated thermal sensor to the heater ensures an extremely quick temperature recovery.
- The intelligent algorithm used in the heating control system increases performance
JBC system can reach 350°C (662°F) in only 2 seconds, while others need between 10 and 90 seconds. |
|
JBC, the most efficient soldering process
- This innovative technology allows a reduction of the temperature by at least 50°C.
- Lowering the temperature reduces the risk of damaging components and improves the quality of soldering and desoldering.
JBC stations only drop 20°C (68°F) where others drop as much as 70°C (158°F) |

The Intelligent Heat Management
Thanks to automatic detection of the tool in the stand, JBC Soldering and Rework Stations are able to make the tools entering in Sleep & Hibernation mode when not being used.
As a result, tip life lasts up to 5 times longer than with conventional systems.
Sleep Mode
Sleep mode automatically lowers tip temperature below solder melting point when the tool rests in the stand. It prevents the dissolution of tips iron coating into molten solder.
Hibernation Mode
After a configurable period of tool inactivity in the stand (10 min factory default), the tool enters in Hibernation mode. It cuts off power supply making the tip to reach room temperature thus preventing oxidation and saving energy. |
|
Longer Tip life
Tip life increases exponentially by using a lower tempearture for a shorter time, as shown in the graph.
JBC tips last 5 times longer than other brands thanks to the Exclusive Heating System and the Intelligent Heat Management: Sleep & Hibernation functions. |

Rework components with Dynamic Soldering Profile
JBC Soldering introduces the final solution for reworking thermal shock sensitive components like MLCC capacitors: Dynamic Soldering Profiles for hand soldering tools.
Available for the upcoming new soldering stations range, this new functionality allows using dynamic profiles in order to control the temperature of the component during all the phases of the soldering process (preheating, soak, reflow), in accordance with IPC J-STD-001G Section 4.6, emulating the heating process in a reflow oven.
|
Now, by combining the new Dynamic Temperature Profile functionality with the most precise JBC rework tools, it is possible to reliably rework MLCC capacitors as small as 008004 and other thermal shock sensitive components individually eliminating the risk of disturbing nearby components. |
Along with JBC Net, the first smart system to optimize traceability and resources in hand soldering, JBC soldering makes possible the rework of high-reliability PCBs for industries such as Military, Aerospace, Automotive as well as Medical.
