Intelligent Weighing Technology, IWT, manufactures scales and balances. Among these are several Precisa Swiss-made balances for laboratory use. IWT is the only distributor of these scales in the US and Canada. Various models are available. The flagship Precisa EP balances feature a hand-crafted force restoration sensor, SCS Auto Self Calibration, 0.00001g readability, and maximum repeatability of 0.02mg. Precisa laboratory balances are also available for moisture analysis. These balances can measure percent moisture, percent solid, residual, and loss at a maximum repeatability of 0.1 mg.
For industrial applications, Intelligent Weighing Technology offers bench, trade legal, washdown, hanging, and counting scales. Precisa high precision bench scales are available for many of these applications and more including below balance weighing, percentage, density, and checkweighing. Large platform, high capacity industrial balances are also available from IWT. The Sartorius Miras is one of these scales. It was designed by the German Sartorius Engineering Group and is capable of up to 600 pound capacity. The Sartorius Miras features outstanding corner loading capability in addition to 30,000 divisions accuracy. It also features an RS232 output as standard.
