This instrument is primarily an oscilloscope, but includes the functions of a spectrum analyzer, an arbitrary waveform generator, a digital multimeter, and a DC power supply. Python scripting is also included. The MPO-2000 series is available in Basic and Professional versions (model number suffixes B and P, respectively) as well as 2- and 4-channel configurations. The Basic and Professional versions differ in bandwidth, signal decoding features, USB protocols, and Python scripting features.

The MPO in the product name stands for Multi-function Programmable Oscilloscope.

Several versions of the MPO-2000 series are available. Some of the differences are highlighted in the table below.

Basic Series

The built-in spectrum analyzer permits you to measure and analyze two frequency domain signals at the same time. The spectrogram function makes it easy to observe the signal’s strength distribution over time.
