unit could use fine adjustments for current and voltage, but it seems to be a very nice and simple unit to operate

Great Power Supply
5.0
Great power supply. The 4 output are so handy for more complex projects that require a lot of power inputs. The display is clear and bright and very easy to read. I like that it has a seperate on/off button from the main power button which is a great insurance policy against frying your project.

GWInstek GPE-4323 power supply
5.0
The unit arrived within a few days and was nicely packed (21 lb power supply) in double cardboard boxes. Pretty easy to operate the 4 output channels. The series-parallel arrangements allow for double the current capacity or double the output voltage of the main channels. Tracking in the series mode will be great for those dual supply projects. I took a look inside and it looks really well built with rugged construction and a nice clean layout of parts and wiring.
I did a bit of checking with a Keysight 34465A 61/2 digit DMM and a couple big load resistors. The voltage displays were always within the 0.1 % spec (worst case was 0.084% at 5 V displayed, but generally very good). Similar accuracy with a 10 ohm 50 W resistor as a load at various voltages. The load did not measurably reduce the voltage at the binding posts but of course a slight drop at the load due to cable resistances. Current displays were always within about 0.3% of measured and all errors were less than the /- 6 mA spec. Ripple was less than 1 mV (the spec) at all output voltages.
The series-tracking mode allowed me to check on how accurately the channel 1 and 2 voltages were tracking. The error ranged from 8 mV at 5 V output to 36 mV at 30 V output - not perfect but within the error specs.
The parallel mode worked fine when delivering 30 V at about 6 A into a 5 Ohm 10 W resistor (briefly). Not surprisingly, the smoke began escaping from the resistor almost immediately!
In any case, an excellent power supply. This display is beautiful and easy to read. The voltage controls lack a fine adjustment but I can live with that. I wish the user manual included a section for making calibration adjustments as can be found in the earlier GPS-2303 model manual. I'd like to tweak that series tracking (though minor) without having to send the unit out.

Technically great, some user interface quirks
4.0
{already submitted this once, but was asked a second time}
Pros: This is a really nice *linear* (my preference) bench power supply. Four channels in a small volume, all four of which are variable, four digits of resolution for voltage and current, all for ~$300. Hard to beat! Includes four sets of power leads and other typical accessories. Cons: #1: The user interface. #2: The user interface! On the screen, the voltage and current for a given channel are arranged horizontally (i.e. voltage to the left, current to the right). To adjust CH1's voltage, you look in the upper left corner of the display while you adjust the knob in the upper left corner of the panel. Very straightforward and logical. But CH1's current is displayed in the upper right corner... and the corresponding knob adjusts CH2's voltage, not CH1's current! In other words: The display is arranged *horizontally*, but the knobs for the two main channels are arranged *vertically*. It's very intuitive to reach for the knob in the same quadrant. It's NOT intuitive to reach for the lower left knob to adjust the upper right value, especially when the quadrant of knobs is literally right next to the quadrant of displays. I reached for the wrong knob twice in the first 2-3 minutes of use. Unfortunately, the display is not dot matrix so it this cannot be corrected (nor made a user option) in firmware. There's no changing it. So... technically this is a very nice power supply and I recommend it, especially at its price point. But be mindful of adjustments. While you're deep in thought, you could reach for CH1 and accidentally adjust CH2 - with potentially disasterous results! Four stars. It would be five but -1 for the poor user interface.

Awesome Power Supply for the price
5.0
This Power supply unit is able to provide accurate voltage as measured by the multimeter. The absence of fine tuning knob makes it difficult to adjust the voltage but can be done easily after a few adjustments.
The availability of two 32V, one 15V and one 5V channels make it really convenient to be used in a circuit having appliances demanding different volts.
The Power unit is very quite while operating and there is no hint of chemical smell like some other power supply units.
I totally recommend this product for hobbyists and college students requiring power supply unit for their lab.

GPE-4323 review
4.0
Service wise, what can I say. Order it on Thursday got it on Friday, and free shipping from fed-x. All I can say is that you have me hooked, any future needs that I might have. I will come to you for. Product wise, I have been a fan of G.W.`s products for some time and was not disappointed with this one either. G.W.s equip. may not be the fanciest or name req. like TEK. But its functionality more than makes up for it. Dependability as well.
